A perennial small shrub that grows from a creeping woody rhizome.    The oval leaves are in whorls of 4 and are covered in sparse hairs.  It bears attractive fan-shaped, salmon-peach-coloured flowers borne on long spikes.

Attracts numerous insects.

MAINTENANCE:
Low maintenance. Prune to remove dead foliage and spent flower stalks.

WATER REQUIREMENTS:
Water moderately.
