A drought-resistant shrub with long, softly hairy, tapering leaves.

Despite its common name, its foliage has no known benefits related to those of the notorious related species. The unique tower of bright orange velvety flowers are irresistible to Sunbirds. It is common to see them positioned (almost upside-down) on the tall stems, feasting on the pendulous flowers carried in whorls at the tops of each stem.

MAINTENANCE:
The Wild Dagga can become very scraggly, so it's best to cut it back after flowering to maintain a neat form.
