Hi Roger
Thanks for visiting Plantbook.
I’m not aware of any new Strelitzia hybrids , but I’m sure the plant breeders are working on something exciting.

Any hybrids or variations with other strelizia’s like “Mandela’s Yellow”
Hello Glenice
Thank you so much for this speedy answer. I guess that is why they are called “parvifolia”.
Thank you again, and enjoy the beautiful flowers!
Best regards
Sonja
Hi Sonja
Thanks for visiting Plantbook.
The major difference is in the leaves – those of S. parvifolia being significantly smaller. The stalk is about the same length, but the leaf surface area is about a tenth of that of S. reginae.
I haven’t noticed any obvious difference in the flowers.

Hello
Thanks for the beautiful pictures. Can you please tell me what the difference is between Strelizia parvifolia and Strelizia reginae? Could it be that Strelizia parvifolia shows/has less petals?
Thank you so much.
Kind regards
