Babiana bainesii

DESCRIPTION

A Small, erect, grass-like herb with flowering stem and leaves emerging from the centre of a large corm.  The leaves are slender, ribbed and hairy.  The mauve and white patterned flowers are sweetly scented and densely crowded at the base of the plant.
