DESCRIPTION

A succulent, perennial herb which grows in small clusters and offers a brilliant yellow display when in flower. The soft, dark green leaves are erect or arching, linear and grass-like. Several dense, many-flowered, spike-like inflorescences are formed from a cluster of plants. The bright yellow flowers are star-shaped and mature from the bottom of the inflorescence, with about ten flowers open at a time.

WILDLIFE & ECOLOGICAL BENEFITS
The pollen-rich flowers attract bees.
WATER REQUIREMENTS
A water-wise plant that requires very little water.
MAINTENANCE
Low maintenance. The stalks of the old flowers and fruit are straight and project at almost right angles from the central axis of the inflorescence. Cut these off when dry to keep a neat appearance.
