DESCRIPTION

A densely, twiggy ornamental shrub or small tree with glossy dark-green foliage. The flowers large, star-shaped and white. It bears large bright-red oval fruits (up to 5cm long).

LANDSCAPING USES
It forms an attractive security hedge which also attracte butterflies and fruit-eating birds.

  1. Does well in gauteng. Needs a few years to reach the 2m mark. Growth tends to be slow for the first 2 to 3 years.
    Very effective security hedge plant. Space 1m apart.
