Chlorophytum krookianum

DESCRIPTION

A graceful deciduous perennial with long, arching, strap-shaped leaves.  It bears clusters of white, star-shaped flowers on tall, erect stems.  The fruit is an oblong capsule that splits to release the seeds.

The plant can tolerate full sun but will have stunted growth.

Damp grassland, swamps and forest margins.

WATER REQUIREMENTS
Water moderately in summer. The plant is water-wise and can tolerate dry periods.
MAINTENANCE
Low maintenance and hardy. It will die back in winter. Do not disturb rootstock and the plant will regenerate in spring.
