DESCRIPTION

An evergreen, perennial, ornamental grass that forms a neat clumping mound and gives an eye-catching display with its finely textured leaves which spill over like a fountain.  It bears small, silvery white flowers at the tips and resembles fibre optic wires, hence its common name.

Clumps can be divided in spring every 2-3 years or when the plants become crowded.

Can also be used to add texture in a mixed bed.

  1. Hi Paul

    Thanks for visiting Plantbook.

I don’t know where you can acquire the seeds. However, the plant readily self-seeds, so you can purchase some plants and harvest the seed.

    Flourish!
