DESCRIPTION

An attractive small evergreen shrub with a reddish to brown bark. The leaves are small, lanceolate with a glossy-green, hairless and leathery upper and lower surface. The margin is entire. It bears small pinkish flowers. The fruit is a thinly fleshy berry up to 4mm in diameter which ripens to pink.
