Podranea ricasoliana

DESCRIPTION

This creeper has glossy deep green leaves and produces masses of large pink trumpet-shaped flowers in summer. It is very similar to Podranea brycei (Zimbabwe Creeper) but differs in that the leaves are broader on the Port St Johns Creeper.

LANDSCAPING USES
It may be planted along a fence to form a dense screen. This is a vigorous climber so may need to be cut back occassionally to kept it in check.
