DESCRIPTION
An evergreen succulent tree with fleshy stems and a dense crown. The star-shaped pink flowers appear in dense sprays on short side branchlets. The fruit is a 3-winged papery capsule.

Very slow grower, hardly any growth in 4 years (KZN South Coast). Hence would not recommend this plant for a hedge rather for a rockery. Also has medicinal use.
