Sclerochiton odoratissimus

DESCRIPTION

A neat small shrub with slightly outward-curling leaves covered in fine hairs.  It bears clusters of white, sweetly scented flowers with dark brown markings.  The petals are flat and resemble a hand.  The flowers are rich in nectar and attract a variety of insects.

Forest margins and stream banks.

Water moderately.

Low maintenance. Trim lightly only when necessary.
