Hi Mario
Thanks for visiting Plantbook.
The root system of Erythrina humeana is not aggressive, unlike the larger trees of the same genus. It’s safe to plant no less than 2m from any structure to ensure that it can form a natural shape without getting in the way.
Flourish!

Good day Glenice,
Thank you for a fantastic website.
How aggressive is the root system of E. humeana and how far from structures would you recommend planting it?
Regards,
Mario
Hi Dave
Thanks for visiting Plantbook.
The Kirstenbosch Nursery should be able to help you with plants and will be able to give you details of the seed bank should you require seeds.
Flourish!

I’m looking for some erythrina humeana plants or seeds. I live in Cape Town.
Do you perhaps know where I may obtain some?
